Recently there have been a number of accusations and bad blood involving myself, David Evans, Joanne Nova, Lord Christopher Monckton, and Leif Svalgaard. Now, I cannot speak for any of them, but on my part, my own blood ended up mightily angrified, and I fear I waxed wroth.

Climate: June was wet and warm across U.S.

California drought still intensifying

Staff report

FRISCO — The average June temperature across the contiguous United States was 1.1 degrees Fahrenheit above the 20th century average, not near a record but still high enough to rank as the 33d warmest June on the books, according to the National Climatic Data Center’s monthly summary.

No state reported June temps ranking in the top 10, but if you’re waiting for things to cool down at night, you may be out of luck. The average minimum temperature during the first month of summer was 1.7 degrees above average — the 10th warmest average minimum temperature on record.

Many climate models project that nighttime low temps will rise faster than the overall average temperature, a worrying trend that doesn’t bode well for city dwellers, and especially for…

Attacks On Carbon Dioxide Are Political Air Pollution

CO2 Capture MiniIt’s high time to recognize that carbon dioxide has been unfairly treated. Not only have the good deeds of this wonderful molecule so essential to nourish rain forests, begonias, and plants that feed God’s creatures been ignored, it has even come to be demonized as an endangering pollutant and climate-ravaging menace.

What real evidence has been offered up to support these defamatory charges? Absolutely none!

Remember that really scary “hockey stick” graph endless hyped by the UN IPCC and the Al Gore types to show that evil human fossil-fueled emissions have put the world at a planet-frying tipping point? Despite those rising atmospheric CO2 levels, global temperatures have been flat ever since the time before most of today’s high school students were born.

And in…

CO2 Tax Australia – Carbon Tax Legislation Voted Out. Snow Falls. Sceptics Celebrate

I never liked this sort of tax. It was anti-job.

Bolt New 01By Andrew Bolt ~

Today, here in Australia, The Senate voted to repeal the Carbon Tax Legislation. It took a while, but the day has finally come to pass.

On the day the carbon tax is repealed, the bible of global warming cries in the unusual snow:

Once – as the IPA points out – every political leader wanted a carbon tax of some sort, such was the warming hysteria:

abbottets_thumbWhich politician dared stand against the united press gallery?:

Laurie Oakes, the Daily Telegraph: ‘Unless [Malcolm] Turnbull can bring the climate change dissidents to heel, the Liberals will face humiliation at the polls.’

Paul Kelly, the ABC1’s Insiders: ‘I mean frankly if [the Liberals] oppose [Turnbull’s amendments to the ETS], that would be signing their own political death warrant.’

Michelle Grattan, the Age: ‘It is in the Liberal party’s interests to vote for the ETS and get the climate…

Global Warming Reaches New Records

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, average global temperatures in April, May and June this year were the highest since the beginning of official records, in 1891.

The Japanese records, released on Monday, show that this year’s second quarter was about 0.68 degrees Celsius warmer than the average for the whole 20th century.

U.S. space agency NASA uses different method for calculating average temperature, but its records, released Monday, show almost identical results.

In addition, the U.S. Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Mauna Loa Observatory reports that the monthly average of carbon dioxide levels in the earth’s atmosphere reached 400 parts per million, the highest in the last 800,000 years.

“I was flying over Oregon when I looked out and saw this heart-shaped figure,” he says. “It was one of those moments when the Universe aligns and takes your breath away.”

DeFreece suspects, probably correctly, that the shape of the clouds bent the usual circular glory into the heart-shaped apparition. Mystery solved? Not entirely. Glories are caused by sunlight reflected backwards from water droplets in clouds. Exactlyhow backscattering produces the colorful rings, however, is a mystery involving surface waves and multiple reflections within individual droplets…

Within minutes of the Australian parliament voting to scrap our carbon tax today, one of our major coal-fired electricity generators issued a profit warning announcement.
